Among certain segments of the Christian blogosphere this has provoked a reaction, which reached a critical mass when the iMonk published to two above-linked writings. Therein he encouraged the evangelical blogosphere to “out” Joel Osteen as at best heterodox, and at worst a heretic. I wholeheartedly agree with his assessment of the situation; moreover, I find this as one more reason why I feel myself being drawn out of the sphere of evangelicalism.
